What hardware do you recommend for our ASC?

Your facility can utilize existing hardware/computers at the facility for HST Case Coordination (i.e. computers in the ORs), however we recommend purchasing a few key pieces to ensure they are getting the most value out of HST Case Coordination: A monitor for the waiting room, a monitor for the OR hallway, and touchscreens in the Pre-Op and PACU areas.

Ordering/Installation Best Practices:

We recommend that you do a walkthrough of your facility before purchasing any hardware to make sure you have enough electrical outlets. Each location you are placing a monitor/touchscreen requires 2 plugs - one for the monitor and one for the microcomputer. If you do not have enough outlets, you will need to have a licensed electrician come in to add more.
